This is something that we feel should be heralded, as each item is unique and bears characteristics that it received from its owners or environmental factors over many years.
All dates assigned to items are a well educated estimate based on many factors including the item's brand, material, design details, and hardware. While the dates provided are a strong estimate as to when the item was produced, there may be slight variation between the true time of production and the information provided - QR can only utilize the information and context clues available to them today.
QR does their very best to make note of and photograph each specific item's condition, and any flaws present. All items are labeled with a condition in their description - QR's colloquial definition of each term can be seen below. GARMENT CONDITION DEFINITIONS
Pristine: An item in like-new condition. No flaws or concerns of any kind.
Excellent: An item in gently used condition. Virtually no flaws and in perfectly wearable condition.
Great: Some flaws present that do not compromise the item's structural integrity. Flaws may include pin-sized holes, light staining, or other general signs of wear.
Good: An item that may need more delicate wear and washing to maintain its integrity. More significant flaws may be present including holes, staining, discoloration, etc.
Thrashed: An item in severely distressed condition, which likely requires delicate wear and washing to maintain its integrity. Items in this condition may not be suitable for everyday wear.
