Brenton Salo 2
by Gator Ball Photo SeriesCelebrating the intersection of art and sport, Huyck House and Literally Balling produced a photographic series inviting select artists to reinterpret a single object through their own lens. The subject is the Gator Ball - a basketball designed by Victor Solomon, distinguished by its white synthetic gator skin panels. Each photographer was given complete freedom to capture the object within their own visual language.
This framed limited edition print features work by Brenton Salo, a photographer / director who cut his teeth shooting the skate and punk scenes of the Pacific NorthWest. The grit established in his early days can still be felt through recent campaign work for high profile brands. His work is defined by a POV steeped in art, sport, and culture to create unapologetic images that move the needle forward.
